A. Suryanarayanan (Surya) has over 33 years of rich professional experience, both as a corporate executive and an entrepreneur. After spending the initial years in the finance function at Union Carbide and Nicholas laboratories, he joined a family run pharmaceutical start-up company, Recon and served as its Group Finance Director.
Surya has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He is an alumnus of the International Masters in Practicing Management program at INSEAD and holds a Masters of Management from McGill. Surya was the erstwhile Chief Operating Officer at NSRCEL(IIMB) at the where he successfully assisted start-ups and SMEs towards globalization. He was also the Head of Operations & CFO at Indian Institute for Human Settlements. He is now an independent consultant advising start-ups to scale.
J. Ramachandran is Professor of Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His research focuses on the strategic and organizational challenges of firms—spanning areas of genesis, growth and governance. His work has been published among others in the Harvard Business Review, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, and Global Strategy Journal.
Professor Ramachandran’s research has won multiple best paper proceedings and the IMD FDC Award from the Academy of Management, USA. His teaching cases have been recognized with the EFMD Best Case Awards (European Foundation for Management Development), case awards from the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia, The Central and East European Management Development Association, and The Association of Indian Management Schools; and the Tata Steel-IIMB award. Over the years, he has won multiple best teacher awards at IIM Bangalore.
Professor Ramachandran is the first Bain Fellow in India. A qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant, and a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Professor Ramachandran has been a Visiting Professor at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA; and the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA.
Professor Ramachandran presently serves on the boards of Redington (India) Limited, Reliance Communications Limited, Sasken Technologies Limited, Allcargo Logistics Limited, Polaris Polaris Consulting & Services Limited, Aditya Auto Products and Engineering (I) Private Limited, ECU-line NV Belgium, and MVP International, USA.
Mr. V Balakrishnan
Bala has more than 30 years of experience in the Strategy, Finance, Business and related areas. Bala served as Head of BPO, Finacle & India Business Unit at Infosys Ltd. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Infosys Ltd., from May 1, 2006 to October 31, 2012. Bala has significant experience in leadership positions in the finance domain, with expertise in Corporate Finance, International Taxation, Risk Management and Mergers & Acquisitions. He served as Secretary and Senior Vice President - Finance of Infosys Ltd., from 2001 to 2006. He served as Vice President - Finance of Infosys Ltd and also served in various capacities in Finance department.
He served as Chairman of the Board at Infosys BPO Limited and Chairman of Infosys Lodestone. He served as a Whole-Time Director of Infosys Ltd. from June 11, 2011 to December 31, 2013. He served as Director at Infosys Technologies Australia Pty Limited and Infosys Consulting, Inc. He has been a recipient of the "Best CFO" award from CNBC and Finance Asia.
Bala serves as an Independent Director and Mentor for many start-up companies. He is also the Chairman of MicroGraam which is a peer-to-peer lending platform that empowers rural entrepreneurs. He is also the trustee of Akshaya Patra Foundation, a NGO which provides Mid-day meals to millions of children across India.
Mr. Vikram Kotak is an investment veteran with nearly two decades of investment management experience. He has held various senior level roles, most recent being the CIO of Deutsche asset management.
Mr. Kotak spent nearly 14 years with the Birla Sun life group and served many roles including CIO of Birla Sun life Insurance for over 6 years till Dec 2011. He has served on various committees including being member of the Capital Market Committee of Indian Merchant Chambers (IMC) and Member of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce (BCC). He was a member of the Working Group Committee on Investments formed by IRDA and member of Debt Market Committee of Bombay Stock Exchange for the period 2002-03 & 2003-04. A Chartered accountant by qualification, he is an avid reader, likes to write and play outdoor sports.
Mr. Jain is a motivated leader with over 20 years of extensive experience in investment-management and success in applying creativity, development of policies, risk management and market experience in developing wealth and portfolio growth for investors and companies. Ritesh has held many senior roles including Ex CIO – BNP Paribas mutual fund, where he was responsible for managing 1.2 billion$ of AUM and ex CIO of Tata mutual fund, where he was responsible for managing domestic AUM of 6 billion.
Amongst the numerous international and national awards he has won in the last few years, prominent ones areCRISIL CNBC TV18 and Business World Debt fund manager of the year in 2011, Lipper Best Bond Fund of the year (4 years in a row), Lipper Debt Fund House -2010 & 2011. Asset Magazine Singapore, which voted him as one of the Most Astute Local Currency Investor, India in 2007.

Mr. Krishnaprasad Ramanathan or KP as he is known among his friends, has two decades of experience in managing private wealth.
KP started his career in 1997 as head of distribution at Franklin Templeton India, before moving to HSBC in 2004 as Head of Sales for NRI clients. After leaving HSBC, for about 4 years from 2010, he was the National Director of Centrum Private Wealth.
He is currently a director of CFO Bridge LLP, which provides CFO services to mid-sized companies. We are fortunate to have him on our Advisory board.

Late S.R. Gopalan, was the founder of two consulting firms - Dawn Consulting and Bizworth India Private Limited. Prior commencing his consulting practice, SRG had a successful corporate career spanning 23 years in Finance and General Management. He was President of Wipro Finance (1992 - 1998) and a member of Wipro's Corporate Executive Council.
Prior to that he was Vice President of Finance and Planning at Wipro Infotech. This was preceded by a stint at Wipro's corporate office as Corporate Accounts and Planning Controller. Prior to joining Wipro, he worked with Union Carbide in a variety of positions. SRG has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai, followed by professional qualifications in accounting with all India top 3 ranking in the Chartered and Cost Accounting examinations.
